Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the WordsGetHotter mobile game ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. We have designed the App to collect as little data as possible. The App is offline-first: gameplay does not require an account, a login, or an internet connection.

The short version: We do not collect or store your personal information on our servers. Your game progress and statistics stay on your device. The only data leaving your device is handled by Google (for advertising) and by your app store (for purchases), as described below.

1. Information stored on your device

The App saves the following locally on your device only (using your device's local storage). This data is never transmitted to us:

Game statistics — games played, number of guesses, times, win streaks, and similar progress data.
Your settings and preferences (such as language).

You can erase this data at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

2. Advertising

The App displays ads through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, including device identifiers (such as an advertising ID), IP address, and general usage and device information. This may be used to show personalized or non-personalized ads.

On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings.
On iOS, the App will ask for permission (App Tracking Transparency) before any tracking identifier is used for personalized advertising. You can decline, and you can change this any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

3. In-app purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases (for example, to remove ads). Purchases are processed by the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details — these are handled entirely by the relevant app store under its own privacy policy. We only receive confirmation of whether a purchase was completed.

4. Information we do not collect

We do not require you to create an account.
We do not collect your name, email address, or contacts.
We do not run our own analytics servers or store your gameplay data in the cloud.

5. Children's privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data relating to you. Because we do not hold personal data about you on our own systems, most such requests should be directed to Google (advertising) or your app store (purchases). 7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
